I’m on the Road again…

This is the 1st time I actually remembered to bring my camera.  I didn’t take very many pictures because we don’t take long enough breaks for me whoop out my ”soul stealer” and take any pic’s. 

He is EVIL

Derrick is my training partner and he is a monster when it comes to riding.   He pushes me every time we ride.  I truly believe he likes to see me suffer.  At one point I didn’t want to be Derrick’s friend anymore.  I dropped F-bombs every time we had to hike up a hill.  Click on this Ugly MOFO’s pic if you would like read more about my suffering.  

We  just finished our 1/2 mile swim at the rec. center and now we’re getting ready for our ride to Denver.  I think it’s around 15 miles from here.

(If you didn’t know, we are training for a Triathlon.  It’s called the ”Sprint” and it will be held at the Cherry Creek Reservoir on September 19th, 2009.  Now you know why are doing crazy bike rides to Denver.)

After we finished eating…we decided to take it easy on the ride back.  We did have a slow start, but we ended up kicking it into high gear and flew back home.  The last 2 miles had a slight incline and it was pretty rough.  My legs were jello for the last 100 yards.  Derrick took off and left me in the dust.  I did catch up to him, but that was only because he was waiting by his car.

All in all, it was a beautiful day and I  had a phenominal ride.
