Question 1/22/10
Q: Why does the world spin after a long night at the bar?
A: It’s because you’re drunk! Duh…
No really - The vestibular system is a complicated network of passageways and chambers within inner ear, all of which work together to control your equilibrium and balance. Inside there are tubes and sacs that contain different fluids, each of which has a different composition. A healthy persons vestibular system function correctly and both sides send symmetrical impulses to the brain. When someone gets hammered, the alcohol changes the density of the blood and this affects the intricate system of balance. That is when their world starts spinning.

This is usually the outcome when someones world starts spinning.
